BAAHUBALI: This Bollywood Actor Claims He Could Have Played Katappa’s Character Better

“Baahubali” is the most successful and loved Hindi film series and there’s not the least doubt about it. All the characters of the movie have played their roles to the perfection and we really can’t imagine any other actor in their places. Apart from Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, there’s one character who grabbed the attention of audiences the most! Any guesses?

Yes, you are right! We are talking about none other than Sathyaraj who played the character of Katappa. Unquestionably, his brilliant performance took the flick to another level and we just loved him in the franchisee.

However, a Bollywood actor has claimed that he could have “excelled more” if he got the chance to portray Katappa in “Baahubali”. He’s none other than Gulshan Grover who has earned the title of B-Town’s Bad man. He appeared in almost 400 movies and is mostly popular for his negative characters.

Here’s what Gulshan Grover told Hindustan Times:

“When I saw Baahubali, I felt Rajamouli had wonderfully penned the character of Katappa. And the second thing that came to my mind is that I would have played the role better. Had I got the opportunity, the character would have excelled more.”
